I would say it has got easier; the old route had four brutal steep climbs of which only one remains in the new route. They should have left it as it was IMHO, it was a classic.

So that's 330 quid for ~70 minutes, or 4.71 /minute.

A speedy Triathlon X on 15 hours is 265 = 30 p/minute (24 p/min with early bird discount). My slow X will be sub-20 p/min.

Value for money ...

If you can find somewhere in London go with that as there aren't any triathlon shops in Manchester. Guess there will be some potential of buying kit at the expo?
