Full explanation: Bet/challenge with a mate.
Swim at least half a mile, open water, twice a month throughout winter.
Penalty for an incomplete month: 5 hour turbo.
Managed the two swims in January (final one in Jan was shockingly, brutally cold). Got really ill during Feb with this cold thing, never really felt good throughout Feb so decided to can the swims and take the 5 hour turbo - which was yesterday.
Now got to decide whether March will be two swims or not...water temps where we are (North Sea, East Anglia) is currently 3.5deg - it was 5 for the January shocker. Praying for some warmth and a bit of sun before the end of March....
Discipline was referring solely to the eating habits....which have been poor.

I know, i'm just teasing. But i would crack on with the poor eating habits if i were you! Looks like you're gonna need a little extra timber swimming in that!!!

70.8 kg.
Eating less carp and ramping up the pain ready for the first race is doing the trick.
Why does chocolate taste so nice?

Been back training for 2 weeks following flu and after effects.
Training going OK but got used to eating crap whilst I was ill and seeming hard to shake off.
104kg for the 4th week on the trot having got down to 101kg in Feb with a sub 100kg looking a week or two away. Now that looks quite distant and my target of 90kg well over the horizon.

69.7kg.
0.2kg trimmed off but more importantly the upward slide for last 2 weeks halted and some discipline back.
Satisfactory.

I seem to be hovering around the low 74's which is still about 2kg lighter than January so I'll take that.
A week in Vienna\Bratislava didn't help, did quite a lot of walking, but also a lot of eating, mostly junk.
Trying to behave again, will see if I get any lower.

68.4kg.
Very strange Easter, with a storm damaged garden fence rebuild DIY project over the 4 days. Throw in training done in the evening after a day of manual Labour and the OH being away for most of it don't think I really ate properly and hence quite a weight loss.
It will creep up again over next 3 weeks, uber busy/stressful time at work with financial year end so the double whammy of less training and more p&ssed off I need cake/chocolate/cookies etc moments.
