No exercise and lots of comfort food last week saw me go up to 75.4kg.

I'm over the worst of it now, so back to training this week and refocus on what I'm eating.

I've hit a plateau.
Could knock off crisps, chocolate and wine/beer, but why?

Up 0.3kg last week to 74.6, but that follows 2.4kg lost the week before.

I need to break this pattern - find it pretty quick and easy to drop to sub 75kg, If I work really hard I can get to 72kg, but that's it. I am aiming for 69kg for my A race on 26 May

Said last week I wasn't going to have any crisps this weekend. Already starting to think I deserve a treat!

My problem is, it's not the normal little packs I indulge, I'll happily sit on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with a Ginger Beer and munch through a family bag.

That's the issue! 900 calories a bag!

Anecdotally I feel a bit lighter, but the last set of scales I got on were just analogue although I do think I was slightly lighter.

I have reduced my junk intake but a lot of it is lazy eating really.

75kg dead on for me.

Need to get down to 66 - 67kg for Lanza in May - having paid the entry fee today, I've certainly lost a few pounds, but the wrong type!

Pretty good at healthy eating, and doing a tonne of training, so I'm pretty sure I'll get there.

Blimey, that's a pretty significant reduction?! >10% of body weight in a few months?

Do you think you'll be able to maintain high levels of training whilst in such a calorie deficit?

I think so - I'm quite lucky with my metabolism. I'm also a biscuit and cake fiend, so tend to overindulge occasionally, so the training and the healthier habits see it off quite quickly.

66kg is the target, I'd be happy for anything <68kg.

79.7kg this morning, target 72kg for May 25 race day. Need to hit that weight a week or two earlier not to screw up nutrition for the day itself though.

Simple matter of too much work, massive commute leading to not enough training. Not over-eating but haven't been careful either for the last couple of weeks.

This week has seen my first set of readings where I've been below 72kg twice. I'm still fluctuating pretty wildly (which must be fluid retention differences), but the general trend at least seems to be in the right direction

Very strict diet Monday to Thursday (I think I averaged about 1000 cals under on MyFitnessPal) but not so great at the weekend.

Lost another 1.1kg for 100.0kg exactly. Oh for another 0.1kg!

man flu last week.

8 days of no training, and not much eating.

69.6kg :-O 1.8kg off....

Target weight, achieved by unconventional and unrecommended means, but all the same.

Objective now is to start training again and still around this weight....
