I'm even more screwed up and mix imperial and metric in the same session.

I'd would refer to a 50km ride at 16mph or a 10km run a 10min/mile.

Born 1970 so I guess I'm a mixture of pre/post EU. Whilst I know roughly the metric speed/pace it doesn't really mean anything to me so always refer to imperial but am quite happy with metric distances.

Weight - I set my target and progress in metric but will always know what that is in imperial too.

That's it, that's the way to solve things, just tell people to go elsewhere Rolling Eyes

And you wonder how Brexit and Trump came about...

How about I just keep on as is, stating my weight in stone, As quite frankly NO ONE cares about my weight, and you can keep on with KG's as quite frankly NO ONE CARES about your weight either, and every year I'll ruin the "Weigh In" thread with a rant about how you are all retards...

How's that?

I mean Jesus it took me enough casts to get a bite!

Bite? You're the only one getting snarky about units of measure, no-one else is bothered or calling people 4-letter words. You've been on here since 2010, and then post stuff like this without a hint of tongue-in-cheek...

To most it just makes you sound a %^&%*, like complaining you have gone from 73 kg to 73.8kg after SERIOUSLY PIGGING OUT OVER CHRISTMAS! That's a big #@?#... And don't even get me started on KM or KM-Miles ...Twats

Note the bit in bold. I can just keep calmly responding to your grammatically illiterate posts calling people retards; or we could just all agree to embrace each others' different view of the world. We are here to talk about triathlon related things, after all.

Quite. It's reminiscent of the heyday of the Forum, where it was commonplace.

It did cross my mind, but I figure you're now simply fighting a rearguard action given the other stuff you've posted. But you're right, it does seem odd that you chose this topic to use 4-letter words, retard and "gibberish" in, when there's a Brexit thread. I guess GrahamO being absent has meant a lack of antagonist for you.

I do realise that really no one gives a flying-fcuk about others' weight, but as I've started this thread, it's merely something that helps some people to be a little bit more accountable and focussed if they want to try to lose some baggage. Sometimes, it even generates some good discussions about diet, nutrition, hydration and the like, which are all pretty relevant and interesting to us triantelopes.

I was with SGreg.

FWIW, I use metric for weight as when I boxed as a yoof that's what was used.

101.5kg this morning, first little victory achieved as that's 15st 13 as opposed to anything starting with a 16.

Next milestone is 99.?kg but probably not this week although not out of the question.
