Teams using Campag and SRAM will be on 12 speed setup

(I thought the Timemachine wasn't UCI legal, due to the aero spares fairing?)

Also, the bikes with bottles just look better than the ones without.
Disc brakes keep the brake lines tidy...if you could get a nice rim brake with the cable hidden...

I'm sure the big manufacturers would want all of the teams to be on discs. They've gone all-in on discs and pretty much everything they produce going forwards will be disc-only.

I assume the main concern from the teams is still around the time taken for a wheel change with disc brakes and the potential issue with neutral service. It'll be interesting to see what the teams are riding for Paris-Roubaix this year. Ironically, Specialized made a rim brake version of the Roubaix specially for their teams for P-R last year because of the higher than normal risk of puncturing Wink

Completely agree, there are some pretty terrible looking bikes there, and too many are plain black

I thought that the Merckx, Movistar Canyon and Ridley look quite nice

All of the disc brake ones look like dog turd from the non-drive side.

The discs are well hidden by the cassette and slightly by the hub flange and forks at the front.

I like the no-cabling look of the disc models, but only from the non-drive side.

The Quickstep Spec with thru axle requires an electronic torque wrench to change the wheel- sounds very F1

That's just addressing the issue that it takes a lot longer to remove and replace a through-axle wheel than it does a conventional quick release wheel.

You'd be pretty stuffed if the team car wasn't around and you needed to take a wheel from neutral service, even if they had the right sort of disc spare wheel.
